Garlic Butter Shrimp

Once you have everything you need, let the shrimp thaw completely. Then, pat dry and season with garlic and salt. 

At the same time, melt butter in a skillet or pan. Add the shrimp and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side. When ready, squeeze lemon juice on top, garnish with the parsley (or cilantro), and serve – and that’s all you need to do!

Crawfish Boil 

If you love crawfish, this crawfish boil is the perfect recipe for you to try out. You can cook this dish in a large pot or in some quality crawfish boilers, whichever you have on hand. Additionally, it uses frozen crawfish, making it easier to prepare quickly. 

Fill the boiler or pot with water and season it with lemon, garlic, onion, salt, red pepper, and any other seasoning of your choice. Let the seasoned water boil for a few minutes before adding potatoes. Let the potatoes cook for a few more minutes, and add in sausage and corn. 

Once again, give the mixture a few minutes to cook. Then, add your crawfish to the pot and cook until the fish is heated (it shouldn’t take more than 2-3 minutes). Transfer the crawfish, sausage, and veggies to a serving platter, letting the water drain away – and that’s all! Your crawfish boil is now ready to serve. 

Grilled Calamari Salad

Squid is most commonly breaded and fried, but if you’re looking to eat healthy while still getting a taste of your favorite seafood, this dish is for you. The ingredients you’ll need include squid, fish sauce, chili garlic sauce, watercress, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, and peanuts. Additionally, you’ll need your kitchen staples, including salt, pepper, cooking oil, and sugar. 

To prepare it, toss the squid in the oil, making sure to season it with salt and pepper to taste. Then, add the squid to your hot grill and let it grill for a few minutes. Once it’s lightly charred, you can take it off.

Mix lime juice, sugar, fish sauce, and chili sauce together to form the salad dressing in another bowl. Then, slice the squid and toss it in your dressing, along with the vegetables and peanuts. Plate the dish and serve!
