Sharon Bell, the accused stalker, is not the mother of his four children, according to the former Manchester United and England player.
A court heard that David Beckham was “frightened” for the safety of his family when an alleged stalker who believes she is the mother of his daughter showed up at the child’s school.
Sharon Bell, 58, claims that Beckham and his wife Victoria took her eggs and that Harper, 10, is her genuine child.
She also has the erroneous idea that she was in a relationship with the former Manchester United and England star, according to the court.
She went to Harper’s primary school to chat with her and was there when Victoria arrived to pick up her daughter, according to Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
She attempted to visit the Beckhams’ homes in Oxford and London in July and September last year after allegedly mailing a number of letters to their addresses.
Bell, of Watford, has previously pleaded not guilty to a stalking charge and will stand trial on July 12th.
Beckham “was intimidated, he felt worried for the protection of his family, and he believed this behaviour was targeted and intimidating,” prosecutor Arizuna Asante said at a hearing on Friday.
